My Book is now a REAL Book!

The most exciting news of the week: I submitted everything for publication for my book, Finding Leadville! You can pre-order here on Kindle, or wait for the release date on Friday July 11th for the paperback version.

Right now, I am solely distributing on Amazon to build up reviews and ultimately would love to plant my book in many an indie store by many a trailhead, all around the country!

This has been an almost-two-year process of writing, editing, deleting, fine-tuning, selecting poetry, and more to create a book that I can finally let out into the world. So much of it was released on my website here; I've shaped it even further and added in QUITE a lot. I'm eager to share the finished product.

Yeah, it can be plainly said: I am SO excited for you to have my pages in hand and read my book.

Finding Leadville: My Story to a Hallowed 100 Mile Finish Line is part memoir, part chapbook, part race report. It's nuanced. Just as I like it to be. I bring readers onto the trail and into my mind, through the history of my body and the painful memories she's held and healed from. It's a story about an adventure and a hero that I hope you can root for.

But it's also part love letter -- to my partner Chris for his steady love; to my body for her strength; to my parents for how they did their best; and to the trails of Colorado, especially on the hallowed ground of Leadville. It's part incantation to the divine and celebrates my updated understanding of who God is to me, the trail runner.
